Baby Hoodie

A modern and fashionable blanket for babies is a baby hoodie. These can be made of jersey fleece material, with an extra section which covers the babies head. This can also be reversed to make a slight cushion. These hoodies make your baby look very cute and snuggled, but most importantly, keeps them warm and safe.

Baby hoodies can be classed as jumpers with hoods on the back, as well as jackets and puffers. These come in all sorted of fabrics, colours and patterns. Some companies even do embroidery to personalise names or even print pictures on them.

The baby hoodie was invented by Isobel Thompson, mainly because she had twins and they were great for popping in and out of the house without any fuss. These hoodies are designed to go in car seats, buggies, and basically anything else with a harness. The idea is to leave your baby hoodie in the seat or pram, when it’s time to leave the house, pop the baby/ child in the seat or pram and wrap them up! Using these baby hoodies in the car seat makes it a lot safer when strapping the child in because you are strapping them in and not the snow suit or puffer jacket. I recently bought my friend a baby hoodie, she was moving to Australia, so I thought it would be useful to have for her little girl, for the cold winter months. She sent me a message the other day, expressing how useful the baby blanket had been on the airplane. She emphasised how great it was to go in the buggy and then to bring with her onto the plane. Luckily it’s just coming into the Australian summer now, so she won’t need it so much.

I also bought a baby hoodie for another friend who had a baby boy, she was so pleased with it and her baby Theo, spends all the time wrapped up in it. She said how wonderful it was, she doesn’t have to muck about with a coat or jacket to keep him warm when she ventures out and about! She said that so many people had commented on it, asking her where she can get one from.

As well as the baby hoodie, Isobel also invented the Morrck wraptures, beach wraps and the new funky coloured hats and matching scarves. She has created a wonderful variety of products designed for all children’s ages and is just about to introduce a new colour scheme and the new waterproof wrapture. Beach wraps were the latest product introduced in the Summer. The beach wrapture is made of beach towel which has poppers at the front, and in true Morrck style, not forgetting the hood! Obviously as your child grows up, Morrck grows with them, they have products from newborn up to age 5+. These sizes come in size 1, 2 and a selected line in size 3.
