Baby Crib Mattress Size

* 51-5/8 inches in length and 27-1/4 inches wide

The depth of your crib mattress should:

* Not more than 6″

* Should be between 4 and 6 inches for foam mattresses

* Should be between 5 and 6 inches for coil mattresses

You can go for The Finger Test to verify the correct size of your crib mattress.

To be sure the mattress is the right size for your crib, place the mattress inside the crib. Now insert two fingers side-by-side between the crib rails and the mattress. If they fit, the mattress is too small. Room for one finger at most is acceptable. Make sure your mattress fits all sides of the crib.
