My Personal Review On Bumbo Baby Seat

I like the idea … but Bumbo has been a bust in our house I like the idea of ​​the Bumbo baby sitter. Really, really … but the story is … My baby never did.

I bought it for him about 4 months because she was showing interest, (actually about 3 months) to want to sit by himself. As the baby of another reviewer, it’s a little on the short and chubby and so are the holes in the legs of the Bumbo a little too tight and therefore uncomfortable. As soon as I put it on him, he arch his back trying to get out. (To prove the Bumbo, Bumbo and could never end … but I never did put some pillows behind him in case he managed to get out or topple over a whole day! ) I tried several times for a few minutes at a time in the course of 4-5 weeks – waiting to see if there used to it – but, unfortunately, never did. (What ended up working best was initially started with the Boppy pillow … * * infamous. And now at 6.5 months, which can sit on your own … sooo the Bumbo has been packed away (perhaps ) our future children to use (… and, well, maybe love * *?).

Shrug. Therefore, the conclusion is … Some children like that … others do not … not really! If you can, treat your baby in it in a store before buying.

Additional note added: I wanted to go back an add a few things to this review. I see that many people use the Bumbo for food, which is a great use of this place! Using the seat so your baby can practice sitting playing with toys, however, is not so ideal. As the seat is designed, the baby sits a couple inches of soil. My son was frustrated in the Bumbo also because he could not easily reach the toys in front of him (I had to keep giving things … when I wanted was to try to catch himself.) I really think that is why he preferred the Boppy pillow – he could play (type [wink]) on their own. Thus, depending on what you want to use the Bumbo for … primarily a tool for eating or playing … Please keep our experience with him in mind.
